On May 22-24, 2013, Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, is hosting the VI Astana Economic Forum and Anti-Crisis Conference

The upcoming events will be traditionally chaired by the President of Kazakhstan H.E. Mr. Nursultan Nazarbayev. The agenda will be focused on discussing the most important challenges and opportunities for the Global Economy: volatility on commodities markets, perspectives of sustainable development, incentives for global competitiveness, increasing role of innovations and technologies, fragile financial systems, regional and country risks etc.

The Astana Economic Forum is organized annually under the auspices of the Eurasian Economic Club of Scientists Association, which was established in 2007 at the initiative of H.E. President Nazarbayev, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Kazakhstan.
